The Acrylabs Liquid Applied Roof Membrane is an industry approved stand-alone roof that can be applied directly to plywood, OSB, ISO, EPS, concrete and all other standard roofing substrates. It is also an excellent cost savings choice over existing roof surfaces including EPDM (rubber), built-up roofing (hot tar), modified bitumen and other types of roll roofing, etc. Tired metal roofs are also great candidates for the system. Applying the roof as a liquid means the resulting surface is seamless and all flashings and details become monolithic with the surface. Applying the roof directly to existing surfaces means avoiding the need to tear off the old roof and keeps it out of the landfill.
