The Roof Authority, Inc. is a family run business. We are celebrating 31 years this month.
We are in need of a NCCO certified crane operator. This is a FULL TIME position. 40 hours per week.
Must be at the office at 6:45am.
- Operate cranes to lift, move, position, and reposition loads according to work orders or instructions
- Inspect crane mechanisms and lifting components before operation to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with ground crew using hand signals or radios to ensure safe and efficient operations
- Perform routine maintenance on cranes and report any mechanical issues
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while operating the crane
- Keep accurate records of daily operations and maintenance activities
Requirements:
- Valid crane operator certification or license
- Prior experience in crane operation in a construction or industrial setting
- Physical strength and stamina to work in demanding environments
- Ability to work at heights and in varying weather conditions

- Proficiency in operating various types of cranes including boom trucks and backhoes
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and address operational issues
- Experience in materials handling within a warehouse or construction setting
- Ability to operate forklifts and other heavy equipment as needed
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate with ground crew effectively
