We encourage participation and feedback from our members on how best to serve the south Florida roofing community and the Roofing Contractors Association of South Florida.
Roofing Contractors Association of South Florida strives to encourage and foster a feeling of friendship and cooperation among members. We endeavor to provide educational information that may be useful to members. We seek to maintain a high standard of business ethics and conduct among members and to encourage such feelings among all others associated with the roofing industry.

Education.
RCASF provides its' members cutting edge industry education on a variety of topics such as: safety, codes, legal and technical innovations. Monthly educational dinner meetings are planned for the third Wednesday of each month. These events have been getting record attendance. Our next meet will be November 20th. Plans are underway for our 3rd Annual RCASF Educational Training Day for 3.1.25. See link below to register for events.
Educational Alliance.
Educational Alliance was designed to create and develop future roofing workforce. Together with the National Roofing Contractor Association (NRCA), Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Association (FRSA), Roofing Contractors of South Florida (RCASF), National Women in Roofing (NWiR), Roofing Contractors, and Manufacturers and Suppliers, the goal is to partner with Florida career and technical education schools (CTE), Trade Specific Programs (i.e. Junior Achievement), and / or re-entry programs to promote roofing education and skills needed to grow roofing workforce and to secure a high-paying entry level jobs in roofing industry both on and off the roof. Advocacy.
RCASF maintains a relationship with local Building Officials and has members who sit on local Code Boards. RCASF will notify you of changes in codes that effect your business.
Community Service
Each year, we are dedicated to improving the lives of children and families in our community.
The RCASF has donated over 1.9 million dollars to our charity partners from the RCASF Fishing Tournaments. Each year, we strive to donate a new roof to a person or charity in need. The RCASF hosts an Annual Holiday Toy Drive. Some of our charity partners included but not limited to the following: Make-A-Wish, IGFA Junior Anglers Program, 4Kids, Sheridan House, Hurricane Relief Efforts, Nicklaus Childrens Hospital, Dolphins Challenge Cancer, individuals and / or families in need for re-roofs. This past year we were able to donate a new roof to a World War II metal worker, Rosie the Riveter and received the prestigious STARS Award from the Florida Roofing and Sheet Metal Association.
Notable achievements:
RCASF Fishing Tournament Chairman Corey Daley, Daley Brothers Roofing, presented the RCASF Award Check of $20,000 to Jason Schratwieser, President, IGFA. Since 2007, the RCASF Fishing Tournament has donated $194,000 to the IGFA Junior Anglers Program. Daley said, "The RCASF is glad to support youth educational programs to help build the next generation of ethical, conservation-minded anglers."
On October 30th, the RCASF Check Dedication was held at the IGFA in Dania, Florida as a result of the RCASF Fishing Tournament. RCASF Fishing Chairman Corey Daley, Daley Brothers Roofing, presented Norm Wedderburn, CEO & President of the Make-A-Wish Foundation Southern Florida with a RCASF Award Check for $340,000 dollars for 68 wishes. Wedderburn said, “RCASF truly believes in our wish granting mission. RCASF has literally changed the lives of thousands of people; children and their families, who are affected by critical illnesses. We are very grateful to RCASF for their continued support.” Since 2010, the RCASF Fishing Tournament has given $1,749,939 dollars to Make-A-Wish, a total of 350 wishes.

Membership Networking.
The RCASF has initiated the RCASF Ambassadors Program offering support and mentorship to members. RCASF events have had record attendance allowing for members to strengthen and build relationships in the roofing industry.
Safety & Technical.
The RCASF is committed to health and safety. U.S. Department of Labor's Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), Fort Lauderdale Area Office and Roofing Contractors Association of South Florida (RCASF) recognize the value of establishing a collaborative relationship to foster safety and health practices and programs to improve American workplaces. November 15th, 2023, OSHA and RCASF formed an Alliance to provide RCASF members and the public with information, guidance, and access to training resources that will help them protect workers by reducing and preventing exposure to falls, struck-by, chemical and electrical hazards, as well as other prevalent safety and health hazards in the roofing industry. Additionally, OSHA and RCASF are also committed to helping workers understand issues regarding scaffolding, confined space, heat illness, and their rights and the responsibilities of employers under the Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA Act). Through the Alliance, OSHA and RCASF place emphasis on communicating these issues to vulnerable workers.
